About Me!

It was during a normal day in the life of a 13 year old teenager, when she first knew about Princess Diana.

It was through Television, of course, when I saw an unusual coverage of her life in almost every channel that our satellite provided at that time, and in different languages. Yes, it was after her untimely death in 31 August 1997, when the entire world was mourning the loss of an extraordinary woman.

In that particular week, I read about her story from local magazines and newspapers, and watched every news coverage that focused on her marital life and charities. I easily fall in love with what the press called "Modern Day Cinderella".

Since 1997, I started collecting books and creating photo albums, which one was sent to Harrods Department Store's Owner, Mohammed  Al Fayed, in 1998. I became fan of on-line shops and auction sites, buying collectables, especially the vintage ones, and joined groups to meet new friends who share same interests. Not only that, but I make sure to get a 'Diana Item' every time I travel to UK or France, and was absolutely thrilled when finding a rare item in other destinations around the globe, such as Japan and Lebanon.

As my collection grow, I created a section in my room where I store and proudly display the 'Diana Items'. Today, I have more than 300 items, ranging from books, to magazines, paper dolls, wedding souvenirs, coins, plates, posters, calendars, audio tapes and DVDs.

In 2003, I launched 'Diana Forever' website. It took me months to plan for the website contents, especially the photo albums. I wanted to ensure that all fans enjoy viewing and downloading large and non watermarked photos to keep Princess Diana's memory alive and forever. Simply, this was my vision of the website, not forget to mention presenting exclusive stories about her remarkable life as a Princess, a mother, a tireless charity worker, and an international icon.

Because I was not a computer person, it took me some time to present a good website. So, I began using free web hosting programs and created different templates, until 2009, when I finally got it right, and with a proper domain name that reflects my vision of a perfect personal tribute to the Princess; 'Diana Forever'.

The next step now is to translate the website into Arabic, my native language. In fact, the Arabic website was launched in 2006, but it requires a huge transformation to be equal in presentation with the English website. Finally, on 5 January 2010, the Arabic website was launched.

I will continue to update my websites and ensure that the memory of the beloved Princess Diana will last 'Forever'.
